Week 1 - Analogies

Score: 100

1. Our life is like a wheel traveling to different terrains as time passes by. Just as a wheel must turn and alter when taking a smooth or bumpy road, we must continuously adjust and persevere in the life we are taking. Each circles shape the path, showing how experiences and choices determine our journey.

2. Time passes by as oceans flow their waves. It will not stop and adjust its direction just because you want to. It continuously goes along, carrying opportunities we must seize before they drift away.

3. Knowledge is seeds scattered in fertile soil. Each has the potential to grow and develop. Just like how seeds need proper care and nurture to be a plant, knowledge should be thoughtfully cultivated. With perseverance and hard work, these seeds develop into a rich, vibrant, landscape of beautiful wisdom.

4. Waking up every day is like writing in an empty diary. We don't know what to put at first, but as the minute progresses, the thoughts flow freely. We just have to let our hands and minds write the moment we had and have it just a piece of memory written on paper at the end of the day.

5. Time is money - limited and everchanging. People need it to live, want it for love, but spend it in the most reckless way possible.

6. Writing a story is making an art. Both are processes of making something profound and unique behind an artist. Every move of the pen inking down is an art, as every color lighting up is a story.

7. Making a decision is like choosing between two different roads. One will be chosen while the other will be forgotten. We should double-think its impact as once you step in, it cannot be taken back.

8. Life's journey is like reading a book. We don't know what's present, but we can look back to the past. We can't skip chapters or close the book midway. It's not always a happy or tragic moment. The best that we can do is to live in every chapter. To enjoy the book's journey as the pages, thicken.

9. Fake people are glass shining its reflection on everyone. They may seem intact and reflective, but once triggered, they reveal their true, broken nature. Just like how shattered glass can be dangerous and obstructive, fake people are unreliable and harmful once touched.

10. Studying is a mother ironing her child's uniform. It involves removing marks of imperfection to prepare for something big. Just as a mother cared enough to polish her child's clothes, students should take time to ponder every lesson they have. And maybe someday, as the child wears the ironed garment is someone who has refined knowledge who can fight against the challenges of the world.
